BAT FIEDLER & LUNDGREN IS LOOKING FOR A SPARE PARTS COORDINATOR
SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced professional
FUNCTION: Operations - Production Engineering

LOCATION: Malmö, Sweden
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Purpose:
To be responsible for the purchase of spare parts covering the whole production area, securing spare parts availability to prevent unnecessary production stops, improve spare parts handling in day-to-day business, and responsible for spare part budget. You will be responsible to coordinate and lead the spare parts administrators.
Reports to: Production Engineering Manager
Geographic Scope: Local
Working Relationships:
Internal: Production Teams, Engineering Teams, Finance Teams, Spare Parts Administrator
External: Machine and spare part suppliers, Subcontractors, Service companies employed in the factory.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Key Deliverables:
Spare parts available always, minimize out of stock situations.
Support purchase of spare part for preventive maintenance
Support production when corrective maintenance is needed regarding spare parts.
Keep budget under control and source new suppliers to keep cost down.
Develop and improve spare parts management.
Responsible for the workshop.
Improve inventory routines.
People Results:
Act as a role model within the organization.
Have a service minded approach when interacting with other functions.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
At least 2 years of experience of working in manufacturing industry.
Preferred former experience of working with procurement and spare parts.
Structured and target oriented.
A good feeling for order.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Service minded and flexible.
Fluent in spoken, written Swedish, English, and preferred Danish.
MS office, preferably SAP or knowledge in any stock inventory software.
Business
Act as an owner with focus on costs, structure, and order.
Lead improvement of spare parts handling
People:
Have a professional approach when interacting with suppliers.
Act in a coaching way towards service technicians and operators.
