Part of the Supply Department, today consisting of 14 people, you'll work with 120 colorful characters (and co-workers) at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.As our Sourcing Coordinator you will work close with our Production Manager. You'll have the main responsibility for sourcing new suppliers for Happy Socks products, mainly textile products such as socks and underwear. The sourcing will be your no 1 priority but you will also handle the overall CSR work such as keeping system and partners up to date and drive related subjects within the company. You will also execute new collections from sketch to approved sample and assist in the development of new product lines together with our designer.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSourcing new factories for Happy Socks products (including price negotiation, product development and ensure quality standard) and onboarding of new suppliersResponsible that Happy Socks CSR requirements are being met by the suppliers by following up BSCI audits and other certificationsResponsible for the BSCI-platform being up-to-dateBeing the contact person for CSR related questionsOversee the licensee collections and ensure that the licensee products are within Happy Socks standard Follow-up the licensee factories regards to social responsibility and other restrictionsExecute new collections from sketch to approved sample and assist in the development of new product lines together with our designer.Our suppliers are located outside of Sweden so the role will include some travelling.Requirements & SkillsTextile engineer education is a mustKnowledge and experience of textile productionAt least two years' experience of textile sourcing (socks and/or underwear is a plus)Fluent in English, both spoken and writtenProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience in working in an international setting is a plusExperience from CSR is a plusAs a person, you are driven with a positive and open-minded attitude. You love to network and have great communication skills, but you also like to work independently, with great structure. Lastly, we want you to be a creative thinker with passion for sustainability and textile production!
