Sourcing is one of the key strategic areas for Getinge Group for optimization of cost and supply. The sourcing organization works with global category strategies combined with a strong local capability for strategy implementation and initiative execution. The organization is currently transforming into one global team managing the complete global spend for direct material within Getinge Group. Since we are growing, we are looking for Sourcing Specialists, both to Växjö and to Getinge (Halmstad).
The position
You will be responsible for strategic Sourcing in the local organization and for local execution of the global strategy. You will be a part of the global category team, driving local category cost down agenda and execute initiatives. You will drive supplier development of specific suppliers and the local cross functional team. You will manage supplier relationships, reduce cost of sold goods and improve supplier performance. You will report to the Sourcing Manager.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Local representation in category teams
• Drive cross functional activities
• Create and maintain local cost down agenda within own category
• Lead and assure execution sourcing initiatives for cost reduction
• Responsibly for overall relationship with supplier, incl support for other functions with relationship to supplier
• Run purchasing projects according to Category strategies
• Responsible for dedicated performance and development with global suppliers
One of the positions is located in Växjö and the other in Getinge (Halmstad). National and international travel is required to approx. 40-50 days/annually.
The ideal candidate
Some of your key characteristics include:
• Min 5 years of previous work within strategic sourcing
• Experience from manufacturing industry
• Worked within an matrix organization
• Strong negation skills
• Business understanding
• Experience from global and complex structures / products
• Engineering or business administration
• Relevant training within sourcing area
• Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English
