Publiceringsdatum2022-01-05ArbetsuppgifterThe main role of sourcing manager at Nilorn is to develop and implement sourcing strategy by regions and build a competitive supplier base in Europe and Turkey. In conjunction with our sourcing offices, you will deliver optimization and standardization of sourcing related processes that increase efficiency, mitigate supply risk and improve transparency. You will lead and work with suppliers and partners for the roadmap towards a high level of sustainability standards. Other common tasks;
• Managing supply portfolio and build a competitive supplier base in the regions
• Regularly review suppliers' performance, and drive continuous improvement in cost, process, quality, and services with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain vendor and supplier relationships.
• Conduct market research and category management for regional supplier bases, price trend, and material supply.
• Internal education and support to our purchasers for them to achieve the best result
ProfilTo be successful in this role you have an excellent analytical problem solving, communication and negotiation skills. Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics with a high attention to detail, curiosity and creative thinking. You also need to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to network and utilize internal and external resources.
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in Supply Chain, Textile, Purchasing or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years' experience in purchasing and/or strategic sourcing.
• Good communicator and excellent level of English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel mainly within Europe and Turkey.
You will work closely with our Material and Innovation Specialist, Product Development and Design teams to source new materials and explore new countries of sourcing. This role will support material and product innovation with Nilorn's stakeholders and partners. Location for this role is Sweden head office in Borås or German office in Hilden, Dusseldorf. You report to the Global Purchase Manager who is based in Hong Kong.
