As an organisation with a strong procurement agenda, the Sourcing manager will have a direct impact on strengthening NKT's business.
Work Description
The role is linked to our site in Karlskrona, where high-voltage cables are manufactured to execute projects awarded to NKT. As the Sourcing Manager, you will act as a Business Partner for local procurement requirements. You might also support Group Procurement in their projects depending on your capacity. One success factor in this role is to develop long-term relations with our key stakeholders.
As the Sourcing Manager, you will:
* cooperate closely with global category managers and provide vital input for long-term category strategies and ensure that Procurement targets on local levels are fully aligned
* run local sourcing activities in close cooperation with global Category Teams
* run the procurement process when supporting local leaders and stakeholders, ensuring efficient execution, with cost, customer benefits and sustainability factors are taken into account
* identify and drive improvements to Sourcing Management
* contract review and renegotiation (depending on your experience)
Who are you?
In order to succeed and thrive as a Sourcing Manager at NKT, you put your communicative skills to use. As a natural networker and a team player, you will effortlessly establish business-focused and commercial dialogue, both internally and externally.
* Goal-driven with a structured and clear agenda and delivers according to an agreed plan
* You have the ability to work independently and set your own prioritization.
* You analytical and base your reasoning and decisions on data
* You are experienced in procurement processes, e.g. sourcing, negotiation and contract review.
* You probably hold a master 's degree in business, engineering, economics or similar. If not - you have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
* Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement.
