But to keep doing so, we need more people who want to innovate and re-imagine what life at home can be.Solutions Delivery Manager The Solutions Delivery Manager has the overall responsibility for the delivery of Consumer and Customer IT solutions, leading our Solutions Delivery team toward implementing IT solutions that deliver business value. The role leads and directs the Solutions Delivery team on a day-to-day basis, promotes collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders in the business and IT across BA Europe, with regards to their current and future application solution needs as well as delivering to agreed budgets. The role is responsible for the delivery of all application development projects and delivery of applications solutions across the end-to-end customer and consumer supported landscape. The successful candidate should be recognized for innovation, operational excellence and efficiency in the delivery of solutions and services.A REGULAR DAY AT WORKYou willCommunicate and work with their IT partners to understand the needs of the business community in order to develop an understanding of the requirements for delivering solutions within Customer and Consumer application portfolioBe Responsible for scoping, estimation, planning, and oversight of design, development, integration and implementation, QA and release management of Consumer and Customers solutions delivery projects.Work closely with Customer and Consumers business and IT Leadership to understand technology and business needs to implement plans supporting technology strategies; provide input on application architecture strategies and ensuring compliance to those strategies.Provide prioritization, analysis, planning, process development and implementation of various systems and projects, including maintenance of their various vendor based and in-house developed applications.Participate in the development of standards and procedures as well as enforcement of IT standards and policies.Track and own all aspects of delivery (throughput and quality) and propose continuous improvements to increase these KPIsActively build cross-functional and cross-competence collaboration within and outside the direct area of controlLead and manage the Solutions Delivery team to drive value continuously, operational excellence and efficiencies while ensuring proper IT communications and IT governance.Develop people and capabilities in the Solutions Delivery team (10 employees across Europe to meet current and future needsDirect personnel involved in the development and implementation of applications and/or maintenance and support of the existing application portfolioContinuously develop leadership and personal skillsReview and approve project deliverables and functions in project Steering GroupsDirect activities to ensure work adheres to processes, procedures and standardsMaintain and enforce Europe IT strategy, standards and procedures at all timesIdentify and drive opportunities for synergies and efficiencies across IT and the business within area of responsibilityActive in securing delivery from on/offshore third party IT providersWork closely with key technology partners and leverage their capabilities to maximize their value add.YOUInfluential: You have a vision and a purpose, and you can inspire and influence others to not only share it, but apply their abilities to achieving it.Innovative: You are all about big ideas and working to bring them to life.Creative : You're open minded about where ideas come from and how they can be applied to enable innovation.Curious: You want to know everything about everything - then you take it all apart and put it back together.Collaborative: You build trust, good working relationships and communicate effectively with your colleagues and across functions.Communicative: You can make yourself understood and are a good listener.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEProven record of business and people leadership in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplined environmentStrong business acumen and a working knowledge of customer applicable functions and processesAbility to identify synergies and opportunities across the IT landscape for the benefit of the functionBroad understanding and experience within IT Proven record of developing IT portfolio governance in close cooperation with business stake holdersPrevious experience working in a matrix modelDemonstrated ability to approach problem solving with creativity and innovationPrevious experience managing third party resources and services in an on/offshore modelExperience of identifying, structuring and implementing IT solutions Venue: Stockholm HQ
