Solution Expert - Solution Center Common Services

The Group Portal and ECOM is responsible for the management of all deliveries for core solutions in the Portal and ECOM areas (for example, some solutions are Trucks Portal, ...).
The team has full responsibility of onetime (cost, scope, quality) and runtime deliveries (SLA fulfillment, cost, quality of service). The function consists of Team Leaders, Solution Leaders,Solution Architects and, Business Analysts, complemented with resources coming from Shared IT Service.

We are now looking for a Solution Expert for the Portal area
In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager Portals & e-Com
Solution delivery unit MAS/DCL.

Role mission & context

As Solution Expert you are the link between business stakeholders and solution management/ IT development for the Portal channels, customers, partners, operators and dealers. You provide business/process knowledge and solution expertise within Portal delivery team run time and projects. You also perform functional business solution support, independently provide trainings, manage a variety of stakeholder expectations and support Solution lead to manage training material. You also take responsibility to manage end user, business and IT requirements for the Portal applications.
The job requires excellent solution understanding, combined with related process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces. You ensure, in Cost and Resource management area, consistent and efficient usage of the Portal solutions.

Responsibilities and Powers
• Support SL to manage the Process & Solution Key User network and the SMM meetings
• Support continuity management for the solution(s)
• Be a Subject Matter Expert within dedicated solution area
• Participate as a solution expert in business activities
• Support the SL to secure and maintain complete solution documentation including user manual and training material and its execution for the solution
• Execute trainings together with process and solution key user and BPD.
• Support the review of and analyse the business process and business requirements and its impact on the overall solution
• Secure the Portal domain knowledge as an Solution Expert in the various Portal projects
• Provide a 1st risk analysis on change request and impacts on portal solution

Wanted Profile
As a Solution Expert you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You have proven experience in business and excel in demonstrating core values according to the Volvo Way.
Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
