Today every truck leaving the factory is equipped with a IoT communication platform collecting millions of data events, waiting to be analysed to get better insight for the trucks and value through services to our customer in our strive to be global leader in sustainable transportation solutions.
You are the solution architect that will help us reach our goal, through making sure we have the right target architecture and that our platforms and tools follows. The driving forces are IoT service architecture, cloud and modularisation.
You will work closely with the marketing, business and development team by acting as a trusted customer advocate. The solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced solutions.
We are looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. You will need to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and will have worked in a fast paced and collaborative environment. You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
Skills and Experience
Cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
You will possess significant hands on implementation or consulting experience and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with data modelling on Hadoop clusters, tools in the Hadoop ecosystem.
Information modelling.
A deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
Your profile
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and willing to engage in both pure analytical type of duties as well as more hands on operational issues.
The candidate must be:Organised and analytical
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
Adept at working in a team environment
Able to tackling very loosely defined problems.
Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
You as a person are a team player who works well independently, responsive and humble, with an ability to drive technological developments based on business needs.
MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
