ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing and govern selected software assets and licenses across the organization, including software acquisition, deployment, maintenance and renewals, utilization of the license pool, life cycle planning, cost control and budgeting, ensuring compliance with license agreements and optimizing software usage to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
You will also be responsible to facilitate the business needs for software and licenses, handle requests from end users, manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation, to perform internal/external software and license audits, set up the SAM strategy, processes, routines and reporting, keep a database inventory of software and licenses as well as manage, implement, automate and maintain the selected SAM tool used (SNOW Software).
As a member of the CTIO Office team, you will have the expertise in your area and provide global support to all Tele2 markets.

Requirements:
Competencies
Strong knowledge of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements including SaaS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively


Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or similar

Experience
Broad knowledge and understanding of IT Technologies, Software - On-premise, Cloud, Workplace, Clients etc.
software asset management tools, technologies and discovery tools like SNOW License Manager or similar
Experience of negotiating and govern software license agreements


Personal qualities
Strong communication skills both verbal and in writing, fluently in English and Swedish speaking is a great advantage
Passion for technology and IT, and curious to learn new things

This is a permanent role, preferably located at our headquarter in Kista, Stockholm.
Other Tele2 locations in Sweden can be discussed. At Tele2 we have the possibility to work in a hybrid model with work in the office and work from home.
