hela Sverige Advanced Engineering - Core Technologies E&E Software Verification is looking to hire Software Verification Engineer for its team in Eskilstuna to test and verify software developed for electronic systems across various VCE product lines. Candidates who wish to apply for this position must have prior experience in development or testing software developed for embedded systems. He/she will also need to implement innovative & competitive software verification techniques.
Key responsibilities:
• Design & develop test cases based on available requirement specifications and verification plans. Execute tests in specified test environment (system test rigs)
• Prepare detailed defect/problem reports & publish test summary reports as required by projects
• Work closely with development & system engineering team to better understand requirements for effective testing; participate in project meetings
• Work in collaboration with SW Test System Developers to resolve issues related to SW Test Systems
• Adhere to defined processes & guidelines for test activities. Use approved tools & methodologies to provide higher efficiency. Participate / contribute ideas to improve test coverage

Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Measurements or Software Development or similar
• Experience in software development and/or verification in Electronic Systems
• Experiences of LabView or similar tools in automotive / manufacturing domain is meritorious
• Preferable to have candidates with experience in developing automated tests
• Preferable Good spoken & written communication skills in English & Swedish
• Good knowledge on Software / Hardware technology and Control System & testing
• Preferable to have candidates who are certified in ISTQB Foundation
