hela Sverige As Test and Prototype Operation Software Testing Manager in Eskilstuna Sweden you are primarily responsible to support Technology development projects by providing software testing resources that carry out world class testing using state of the art equipment. You are also responsible to develop the department into a highly competent functioning team unit. In addition to this you will also be part of a global testing team who regularly share best practices and drive a continuous improvement program.
If you are primarily a software manager with clear experience in managing software engineers who has a passion and expertise for delivering high quality testing, then you are keenly advised to apply to this exciting position within the Technology domain.
Main Tasks;
• You will provide suitable testing resources to development projects as required and provide high quality test results which conform to state of the art processes
• You are responsible to provide the first line of management support (including Personal Business Planning - including objective setting) to all Software Test Engineers, Software Test Rig Developers and Functional Project Leader.
• You will be the main point of contact for all software testing on the site and attend regular site management meetings
• You will run regular weekly update meetings with your team
• You will participate, own & provide operational leadership in all site Software testing activities. You will represent team, delegating where necessary, in project meetings, governance, 5S meetings and other relevant TnPO global forums.
• You will have input into developing and improve the testing strategy on site.
Education;
Minimum requirement - Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science Engineering (MSc is preferred)
Experience;
You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in embedded Software management (Development/Test) environment preferably managing people.
Ideally, you are an ISTQB-certified test professional
You are fluent in both Swedish & English languages
