Team Test at Refined - How we work
Let's dive right in!
At Refined we build software together. Team Test works closely with developers and the product teams.
Depending on the type of release, Team Test makes a plan together - for the larger releases this includes a hand-over from the product team, for the micro ones we plan our work to suit the scope. Once the test plan has been set - action Team Test!
Our products are UI heavy and web based, and to be able to produce high quality software that not only functions well, but works well and in an easy way for the end-users, Team Test tests our products as the users use them - in the UI itself (aka "manual testing" for lack of a better word).
Who are we looking for?
We work to build products with the high quality our customers have grown to expect.
You'll need to be thorough, be able to see details as well as bigger picture stuff, and be able to work independently based on given guidelines - we work with a context driven approach - the more you understand about the application and use of the products we build, the better.
We need you to put our end-users at the center of your work. You'll be working with many product variations and you'll need to be able to rapidly get up and running in new scenarios and setups.
You'll need to be able to work strategically to leave no stone unturned using your imagination to test our products from all possible aspects, and report what you see in a clear and concise way. We believe you want to continuously work to improve your skills.
Experience
• Worked in software testing before and/or have relevant education and experience
• An understanding of different user setups (browsers, OS, databases, hardware, etc.)
• Familiar with Context Driven Testing
• Experienced in working independently and as part of a team on projects and assignment
• Experience of IT systems from an application point-of-view, and from the UI
• If you've worked with automated testing from the UI side, this would be a bonus but not a hard requirement
• We're an international company and our company language is English - you'll need to be able to talk, write and understand English

The tester we're looking for will be joining the team in Malmö, where the office is located a 5 minute walk from Malmö C - with a beautiful view of the Malmö harbour.
