We are seeking out a tech-savvy software test engineer or coder to join our development team.
Arcam, a GE Additive company, is an innovative partner for manufacturing in the orthopedic implant and aerospace industries, where we deliver customer value through our competence and solution orientation. You will join a team of developers and get to work cross functional with other exciting disciplines within R&D such as mechanics, electronics and process development. Working in an agile environment means that you need to be fast-paced and ready to change direction quickly. Testing will be done in a simulated environment, bench tests and on machine. As an agile tester, you have no test lead to guide your everyday work, instead it is you who know what to do and how, actively consulting with users and developers.

The Role
• Actively consult with various stakeholders of the solutions to understand issues they face and scenarios on how they use the solutions
• Work closely with developers to test and give feedback on their code
• Visualize planned tests of user stories, features and the solution
• Use a multitude of test techniques and heuristics when testing to find issues that threaten the value of the solutions
• Visualize and report test result and overall status of testing and quality
• Implement the overall test strategy and together with other testers in the organization, improve and update the test strategy as well as implement quality improving activities
• Know what to automate and articulate and specify to developers
• Coach colleagues and share knowledge

Profile
• Experienced software test engineer
• Bachelor of science or similar
• Comfortable and experience of working with agile methods
• Work experience in different test tools. Programming experience is a plus
• Innovative, creative and quality conscious
• Team player and open minded
