The engine control teams in the department Propulsion Controls & Calibration (PCC) are involved early in the development of new powertrain concepts and its software where we have a big impact on vehicle behaviour. We develop solutions that both meet legal requirements and give the customer an outstanding product. The teams creates system solutions, functional design and perform verification on engines, in full-scale test cars, HIL and SIL 's. We realise our ideas through the development of embedded functionality software in a number of control units.

ECC Project & SW Management is a group within the Engine Controls and Calibration section that consists of project leaders, software coordinators and test engineers.

Main responsibilities

We are now looking for a temporary Software System Package Owner (SSPO) during the parental leave of one of our SSPO. The task is to lead and coordinate the development team effort and its effect on Engine Control software changes regarding functionality content, testing and quality assurance. The main purpose of the SSPO is to bridge the gap between hardware/system changes and software changes. An SSPO are responsible for one or more Software System Packages (SSP). This SSP consists of software functionality for Air charge control (AES) including the responsibilities for the concerned groups within PCC.

Main tasks is to manage the SSP regarding

* Backlog

* Team resources

* Requirement tuning

* Sprint planning

* JIRA issue follow up

* Software and project configuration

* SVN structure

* Sprint releases

* System Weawer updates

* SharePoint maintenance

* Support SWINT & KASW

* Quality

* Make the software team work together

Required qualifications

* University degree from a technical education

* At least 5 years of work experience

* Automotive knowledge, especially of combustion engines

* Software development knowledge

* Good communication skills, both spoken and in writing

* Well organised and a structured approach

* Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

Possibilities of development

This role is a good experience builder for other tasks within software development and control of mechatronic systems. It will also give you leadership experience which can be used in other leadership roles as managers or project leaders.
