The engine control teams in the department Propulsion Controls & Calibration (PCC) are involved early in the development of new powertrain concepts and its software where we have a big impact on vehicle behaviour. We develop solutions that both meet legal requirements and give the customer a outstanding product. The teams creates system solutions, functional design and perform verification on engines, in full-scale test cars, HIL and SIL 's. We realise our ideas through the development of functionality software in a number of embedded control systems.
ECC Project & SW Management is a group within the Engine Controls and Calibration section that consists of project leaders, software coordinators and test engineers. We are now looking for a Software System Package Owner (SSPO) to lead and coordinate the development teams' effort and its effect on Engine Control software changes regarding functionality content, testing and quality assurance. The main purpose of the SSPO is to bridge the gap between hardware/system changes and software changes. An SSPO are responsible for one or more Software System Packages (SSP). An SSP consists of software functionality for e.g. combustion or exhaust after treatment including the responsibilities for all concerned groups within PCC. Main tasks is to manage the SSP regarding:
Backlog
Team resources
Requirement tuning
Sprint planning
JIRA issue follow up
Software and project configuration
SVN structure
Sprint releases
System Weawer updates
Sharepoint maintenance
Support SWINT & KASW
Quality
Make the software team work together
Required qualifications:
University degree from a technical education
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Automotive knowledge, especially of diesel engines
Software development knowledge
Good communication skills, both spoken and in writing
Well organised and a structured approach
Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
