We are looking for an expert in Software Safety and Systems Safety to join our cross functional team, Interdisciplinary Integration. Your role
As a Software Safety Specialist, you will be part of the product development process and work closely with our software developing teams, to make sure our in house developed software is safe for our customers. You will also be part of the procurement process, and make sure any procured systems are safe and have been developed according to our Software Safety standards. In adition, you will work with Systems Safety in order to make sure the safe development of all Combat, Electrical and Automation (CEA) Systems.
The main tasks are:
* Review and analyse in house software to ensure safe products
* Review and analyse safety aspects of procured software
* Systems Safety analysis of CEA area systems
Your role is primarily within the Software Safety Analysis and Systems Safety areas, but the interest to develop skills within other disciplines within the team is preferable. The main part of the work is performed in our Malmö location, some parts at our shipyard in Karlskrona.
Your profile
To succeed in this role you need an analytical mind, a systematic approach and ability to take responsibility for your deliveries. We are looking for you who enjoy to work independently and seek necessary contacts and information when needed. However you also need great communicative skills to collaborate with many different stakeholders in our cross functional environment. Since we also like to have fun at work and are looking for a great colleague - we would prefer you to be easy going and social!
Required skills:
* Masters degree in computer science or equivalent
* Good knowledge and experience in Software Engineering
* Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
Desired skills:
* Good knowledge and experience in Systems Safety Analysis/Risk Analys Methodology
* Experience in Software Safety Standards
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
The team you will join, Interdisciplinary Integration, is a cross functional team that works with Software Safety analysis, Systems Safety Analysis, Requirements Support and Logistics Support Analysis, among others. The main goal is to ensure a smooth integration of the area CEAs systems onto our submarines and surface ships. We strive to develop our complex products according to our customers highly set requirements.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals, and together with them develop our products all the way from the earliest concept studies, through systems design to tested and verified platforms delivered to the customer.
