Head Units & Displays is a group within Infotainment. Head Units contain a growing set of functionality including audio/video, navigation, Bluetooth, speech control, radio (AM, FM, HD), media players (CD, DVD, USB, AUX) and connectivity. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods to develop the safest car in the world and offer our customers a genuine driving experience.
As a Software Responsible within the group Head Units & Displays, you will be part of a cross functional team with project manager, hardware specialist and several functional/system designers. Your main task is to be responsible for specification and coordination of software development. You will work closely with suppliers and be part of an international team to secure the delivery of Head Units.
Main responsibilities
• Coordinate the software development for Infotainment Head Units in the area of base concept requirements as well as functional development
• Coordinate software releases and software specifications for infotainment Head Units
• Monitor suppliers' software development and verification
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. degree in engineering or a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Experience from the automotive industry or the consumer market development
• Driver's license
• Excellent English and Swedish, both verbally and written
Personal qualities
• You have a high level of energy, self-going and business oriented
• You are a team player with good pedagogical skills
• You have excellent communication skills to match the demands of an international work environment
• You are flexible, creative and like to find alternative solutions to solve upcoming problems
