Within the area of Core Technology Electrics & Electronic Platform we now are seeking an experienced Software Developer who has the drive and passion to contribute to great teamwork to meet future challenges. In our department, Software Platform, we develop and maintain the Software Platforms (TEA2, CEA2+) that are used in a majority of Volvo CE products such as for example Wheel loaders, Haulers, Excavators and Pavers.
As a Software Developer you will join a team of 10-12 skilled developers. The major part of the software platforms is written in C and C++. Some part is generated from script tool as Python and model based tool as Rubus ICE and Matlab/Simulink. The platforms are used by our Product Platform (e.g. Wheel-Loaders, Haulers) to run their application software on.
Experience and Qualifications
• Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer science or Software Development
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in software development and/or verification in Electronic Systems
• Skilled in C, C++, Python and XML
• Experience of working with software development for embedded systems
• Basic hardware knowledge required in order to configure ECU's, carry out I/O-testing etc.
• Experience from application perspectives in order to analyze problems and set up test cases
• Experience of working with requirements, documentation and module test
• Enjoy working in a cross functional, international environment
• Eager to learn and work with your own and the team's development
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
