For the Digital Machining Business team - where we all share a passion for innovation and developing new solutions - we are looking for a Software Manager in who wants to be part of a new and creative area in our business, working in a modern and exciting environment and interacting in a dynamic and international setting.
The location for this position is either Stockholm or Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As Software manager, you are responsible managing a competitive portfolio and initiating new software for tool path (machining methods) and tool data visualization for our intelligent tools within Digital Machining. Working in close collaboration with the internal organization, external partners and our customers, you ensure we meet our customers' demands developing a value proposition and a got to market model.
By collaborating with our R&D team and external research, you are heavily involved in ongoing product development and application development projects: setting demand specifications for new pre-machining software, and identifying and prioritizing incidents that will need to be worked on within system development.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with experience and keen interest in software development as well as managing a competitive offer to the global market. You have a technical and/or business management degree or equivalent experience gained from working. You have at least 5 years' experience as a Product Manager or Software Developer with an understanding of CAM programming. You are interested and familiar with "Industry 4.0", software development and system integration, while a technical background and experience in machining is considered an advantage. As we work in an international setting, you have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
