Join us as a Software Integration Engineer (m/f) in Västerås - Sweden and you will be looking at a career-defining role
Your mission?
As a Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software and systems to fulfil the stakeholder requirements.
Your performs software design assignments requiring initiative, resourcefulness and design experience and provides advice and guidance to other engineers or designers.
Your key responsibilities?
Software Implementer: To transform specified designs into a well working physical realization.
Software Designer: To analyse and transform specified requirements into detailed design solutions which have the required safety integrity level.
Software Integrator: Assemble software and/or hardware items through all levels up to form a complete subsystem (e.g. TCMS Platform Architecture or TCMS user application software), according to the architectural and design specifications.
Software Configuration Engineer: To establish and maintain the integrity of work products using configuration identification, control, and status accounting.
Software Verifier: Examine and judge whether the output of a specific development phase fulfils respective requirements, mostly document reviews. The verifier ensures proper documentation during all project phases
Minimum qualifications:
BSc degree, MS computer science or Software Engineering
Software development experience
Strong software development fundamentals and experience in at least 1 OOP(Object Oriented Programming) language such as (C++, Java). In addition, experience in scripting languages such as batch or phyton is required. Experience in modelling, Matlab/Simulink is added value.
Fluent in English and (preferably) Swedish
New graduates are also welcome
Ideally:
Knowledge of railway industry
