Gyros Protein Technologies enables bioanalytical solutions and peptide synthesis that help scientists increase biomolecule performance and productivity in research, drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical development, and bioprocess applications. Proprietary high performance nanoliter-scale immunoassay platforms, Gyrolab® xPand and Gyrolab xPloreTM, are used by scientists in leading pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and CMO companies for bioanalytical applications such as pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and quantitating bioprocess-related impurities. Gyros was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from GE-Healthcare. In 2016 Gyros Protein Technologies was founded through the merger of Gyros and Protein Technologies. The center of excellence for the immunoassay business of Gyros Protein Technologies is located in Uppsala. The company has approximately 140 highly motivated professionals in Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, etc. Since November 2019, Gyros Protein Technologies is part of Mesa Laboratories Inc. as their Biopharmaceutical Division.

As a software developer/ engineer you will work with all steps in the development process, for example with analysis of needs, design, implementation, testing and verification and validation. You will work with the software that controls our instruments, plan experiments and analyzes results. This includes numerical analysis and statistics. The tasks include development of future products, but also maintenance and management of existing systems. The work is mainly done in teams and you have contacts with most departments in the company including our customers.
Who we are looking for
We believe that you have a university degree as a civil engineer, computer scientist or systems scientist. You have at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in the area of Life Science where you worked with the development of Medical Devices or analytical instruments. It is an advantage if you worked with instrument control at lower levels, but as a developer at GPT you can work with all layers of the software. We use the following languages / tools, among others, and it is an advantage if you have worked with some of them, C ++ and C #, are a requirement.

• C++, C#, WPF, .Net, COM, Java
• Oracle
• Windows
• Enterprise Architect, Jenkins, Subversion, Mantis. NUnit, Visual studio
You express yourself well in both Swedish and English and you have the ability to see context, and enjoy problem solving. If you have a great technical interest and quality focus, analytical skills and if you are communicative and social, you are the one we are looking for.
