About the job We are now looking for two Software Engineer- DevOps who will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining an automated pipeline for Swedish Digital Banking development channels (Frontend, Backend and Mobile), which will enable Continuous Integration, realize fast fail detection and improve developer efficiency significantly.
Together with other Software engineers in the team, you are expected to build and publish a Jenkins pipeline in production, which will enable developers run builds faster, more reliable, more stable and with higher quality. This deployment pipeline will also provide developers with helpful messages to make fast fail detection a reality. This requires high level of collaboration with other teams in Swedbank Digital Banking, utilizing feedback from developers and also educating them about new way of working, in order to build a culture of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
What you need to succeed A profound knowledge about software development, and different programming languages and tools (Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Java, Javascript, Angular JS, NodeJS, etc.) are essential to be highly effective in this role. To make a real impact at this position, you need to collaborate with other developers and architects to identify improvements for build pipelines, take a proactive approach to all problems and document your key finding and solutions.
