As scrum master of a real-time embedded software team, you will strive to boost the team's effectiveness by applying scrum and agile techniques and practices. You will help your fellow team members understand the scrum values, focus on delivering high value rather than high output and foster a culture of continuous improvement by inspection and adaption. As you are a software developer yourself, you will be able to understand the complexity of the challenges faced by the team and you will contribute to the development activities.
You will be part of a high performing product development program developing products for digitalization of the grid automation business, enhancing reliability as well as situational awareness in power systems. In addition to the software teams, you will work closely with hardware engineers, power system specialists and test engineers to create the best possible products.

Your responsibilities:
Apply agile practices and facilitate productive scrum ceremonies to help the team achieve the sprint goals and continuously improve its effectiveness and self-management capabilities.
Engage in requirement analysis and take active part in backlog refinement with product owner, architects and stakeholders, helping find techniques to improve the reliability of the team's estimates.
Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative software solutions for real-time, embedded, and mission critical systems using multiple operating systems.
Take active part in proactive quality work through refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, static code analysis, etc.

Your background:
Scrum master training/certification
Experience as scrum master in embedded software development team
Strong leadership and teamwork skills to be able to drive your team's work from requirement to tested and accepted feature delivery.
High developer skills in C++, as well as Linux and/or FreeRTOS
Experience in real-time systems and multithreaded applications on multicore platforms
University degree and a couple of years professional experience within software engineering, computer science or similar
Inner revelation about the importance of testability and test automation of code
Additional merit if you have experience/knowledge in industrial Ethernet communication, specifically IEC 61850, IEEE 1588 PTP & Ethernet redundancy protocols.
