• Take part in the entire development process from exploring requirements to delivery.
• Strive to share your knowledge and experience with others.
• Design and develop new features.
• Improve on existing systems and feature set.
• Together with your team take overall responsibility for the team's deliveries and quality.
• You are well experienced in software development and you keep up to date on the latest technologies within software development.
• You master Java as your coding language and feel comfortable in Linux server environments.
• You have experience in designing robust and highly scalable systems.
• You take responsibility for finding solutions to challenges by yourself and together with your team.
• You strive for clean code and value the power of designing for testability.
• You want to work in an agile environment.
• You want to automate to avoid repeated manual work.
• You have a Master's degree in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
• You have good knowledge in both Swedish and English.
We build intelligence into Infinera's fiber optic networks with innovative and smart solutions for network management. We create the software that enables Infinera's customers to build and control complex and increasingly large transmission networks. Advanced features such as automatic resource provisioning and deployment of network services pose ever evolving challenges for us as the technology in the transmission networks evolve.
Agile methods play and important role in our daily work. This helps us develop better products while having fun on the way. We value feedback and seek to gather input from both internal stakeholders and our customers. We like to try out new tools and technologies. Today we use technologies such as Gradle, Git, Docker and Docker swarm, Jenkins, Vagrant, Angular, JavaScript, Html5, Bootstrap, RabbitMQ, AspectJ, Spring Boot and Json. Java 8 is our main development language.
