Who are we?

The section Vehicle Propulsive Controls & Calibration, within the department Powertrain Controls and Calibration, works very close to end customers and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration related to the engine, transmission and hybrid system regarding propulsive attributes and torque and power coordination. We think that it is a privilege to work near the end users. Sometimes in a big company you can be concern that you are too far away from the end users - but here you don't have to worry!

We are today about 80 skilled persons within the section, organized in five groups divided by roles to better support our everyday work. The group Propulsive Software Development currently consists of 18 committed individuals responsible for development and verification of our in-house software.

What will you do?

We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Software Development Engineer with experience of model based developed SW. Our in-house software is divided in SSP:s (Software System Packages), and for each SSP there is an agile team responsible for the deliveries. You will be part of a recently started SSP team with main responsibility within the field of energy prediction and optimization, including vehicle energy coordination and optimal energy management strategies for electrified vehicles. You will be responsible from advanced engineering projects to running production while also supporting in requirement handling and unit testing of model based developed SW. Sounds exciting? We believe so!

To sum things up; this is what you will do:
* Design and implement Software according to requirements, project and implementation plans
* Validate developed in-house SW on function and system level
* Deliver calibration for first project introduction of a new function
* Keep function description documents up-to-date and write calibration guidelines
* Contribute to continuously improvements within the responsibility area, such as work processes, methods, tools, strategies and requirements

Who are you and what do you need to have?

To be successful - we believe that your technical competence, as well as your ability to manage projects, should be strong and you should be able to make your own decisions and draw technical conclusions.

You have experience in software development in Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink. If you also have experience from automotive software and scrum based development - we considered that as an advantage.

We see that you have a university degree in engineering (Bachelor, Master or PhD). As we are a global company - you must be fluent in English. Also you should have a driving license (B), preferably you love cars as much as we do! (Otherwise you will start doing so if you join us)

As mentioned above, you will work close to the end customer - so it is important that you have the ability to put your focus on them. You will work in cooperation with others, so you need to be a team-player with high communication skills.
