The Embedded Automation & Digitalisation organisation within Tetra Pak is now looking for a Development Engineer with focus on Software Engineering & Motion Control.
The Embedded Automation & Digitalisation organisation is responsible for the development, roll-out and maintenance of our world class automation platform. The platform is embedded into our products and serves as a foundation for our digitalisation effort.
To maintain our position as world leader in the food & beverage industry, we now see the need to extend our development team.
Main Responsibilities
In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the following areas:
• Software engineering within the IT / Industrial Automation application area.
• Development of hardware abstraction layer and application layer software libraries, with strong focus on motion control.
• In collaboration with our product development organisations, participate in the development of mechatronics control applications and solutions embedded in Tetra Pak packaging equipment.
Qualifications
• Extensive experience of structured programming, preferably object oriented programming.
• University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar knowledge.
• Experience of the complete software engineering process and team collaboration, preferably agile practices (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD).
• Experience of the industrial automation area is preferred, in particular PLC and Motion Control.
• Experience of IEC 61131-3 programming languages is preferred, in particular ST and object oriented extensions.
• Experience of the Beckhoff PC-based automation system, with focus on motion control and object oriented programming, is beneficial.
