We are building new innovative functionality and services within the Appland App Store Platform and are looking for a software developer to help drive technical efforts and deliver solid, flexible, scalable systems on an aggressive schedule. In this role, you will design new systems, produce top quality code, and mentor other developers in their work.

You'll become a master at platform system design, API creation, platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation. You will design and build the operational scalability that sustains the platform's growth.

Among others we use Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Web Services, EC2, Cloudfront, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, APK wrapping, OpenIAB, Kibana, Imgix, Mustache, Backbone, Drupal, Node.js, Logstash.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Android, Java, PHP and/or Scala.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases.
Strong ownership, urgency, and drive to launch services.
Experience building, deploying and maintaining complex systems.
Experience with Linux as a server OS.
Do not hesitate to apply if you feel you have the drive and urge to learn but not yet the full qualifications or if you are more geared towards Android than backend.
