We are now recruiting software developers to the Cognimatics team!
SO, WHAT IS COGNIMATICS?
Cognimatics is a team within Axis that develops market leading software for smart video and image analysis. Our TrueView products has a strong history within the retail analytic segment with products like visitor counting and demographical analysis. All over the world, many of the successful retail companies are using our TrueView products to improve their performance and customer experience. The products is today used in more than 70 countries.
The Cognimatics team was founded by world leading researchers in the video analytics field and is today part of Axis Communications AB. We are working cross functional and the team members:
develop new products - from product analysis to design and implementation - from algorithms to user interface implement new functions in existing products and maintain the released products develop and run tests for our products provide specialist support to our support organization develop in a Linux environment use GDB, Git and Gerrit
We use agile methods for development and project management. We work close to our customers in all steps of development and we have a lot of contact with the customers, both direct and via our support organization. We cooperate continuously with other departments within Axis to create different platforms for retail analytics.
IS IT YOU?
We are looking for a person that has knowledge and experience in some of the following areas:
Algorithm development, back-end development and development of user interfaces Python, C/C++ and JavaScript Linux/Embedded Linux Databases, e.g. MySQL Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision Git and Gerrit Test Driven Development Design and implementation of Web GUI Design and implementation of Cloud services
Our cross functional way of working requires that you are a team player that enjoys to work with new people. You are also result oriented and likes to handle several tasks at the same time.
