About your job
In this role, you work in close collaboration with your team to secure a high-quality product. We're an agile team with responsibility for the end-to-end engineering aspects of multiple digital product offers, operating closely to our customers and solving real machining problems through modern software, using combination of our machining knowledge and digital expertise. Together we build and deliver user value based on product roadmaps, customer feedback and past experiences and you keep an eye on emerging technologies, competitors and what's going on in the academic world to always stay two steps ahead!
About you
We're looking for someone with a university degree in computer science combined with a couple of years work experience as a code developer - either as a full-time job or as a work alongside your studies where you can show us examples of your work. Your technical skills should match the technologies we use and therefore we see a value of you having knowledge in .NET, C#, Blazor, web tech (HTML/CSS/JS), Bluetooth, databases, Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps and other Azure cloud-based tools. We also see it as advantageous with competence within some aspects of machine learning, data and IT security, dynamics, the metal cutting industry, control engineering, as well as networking and cloud-based applications. Acting locally in a global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian or Swedish.
You're a quick learner who are able to easily pick up and understand new tasks, a feature that really comes in handy as we work with many tools and technologies, and continuously add to our toolbox when the world evolves around us. With your good communication skills, you easily build stable relationships, and you truly are a team player to the bone, even though you don't mind working independently. At the end, you're an investigative person who enjoys solving problems coming your way!
