Software developer
You'll be working at R&D Operations with internal development. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, implement and maintain new and existing internal tools. Performing debugging will also be key task in your daily work. The job requires a person with strong communication skills which is highly organized and with an interest for details and quality.
The role
Developing multiple minor tools (which often acts as bridges between systems)
Develop and implement plans for rollout in production environment
Document and train your fellow team members on issue handling
When needed, document and train end users on the tools
Be responsible for risk management and risk mitigation regarding the tools
Take responsibility for existing in-house tools and create/implement improvement plans
Debug any type of developer related issue
Act as bridge-builder between departments, processes and tools
Your skills
Excellent analytical, development and debugging skills
Development languages:
o Proven skills (5 years+) in Java/C#
o Javascript knowledge is preferrable
o Beeing able to understand existing C++ code is a plus
o Experience of QlikView is not needed, but has value!
o Any other skills in additional languages is a plus
Protocol and security skills:
o Knowledge about modern protocols such as XML, HTTP is required
o Knowledge about common security models (examples: Active Directory, LDAP and NTFS) is extremely valuable
Other skills:
o Proven skills in writing software that integrates with at least one system.
o Used to work in a source controlled environment is valuable
o Knowledge about VMWare is a plus, and is very valuable if you?ve integrated with these systems
o Knowledge about the build and/or deployment process (Continuous Delivery) is very valuable, especially if you?ve integrated with these systems
o Skills on advanced development such as multithreading and writing distributed systems is only a minor plus

Structured and organized - ability to prioritize, coordinate resources and organizing
Analytical - analyzes critically and takes systematical and rational decisions upon relevant information
Service minded - Since R&D Operations is a service organization
Ability to adjust respond to multiple demands (including unanticipated events), and prioritize and communicate accordingly
The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
