Ericsson R&D in Kista campus is now looking for 2 Software Developers to join a team of highly-qualified and driven engineers to develop, maintain and support a CSIM (Components Simulator), which is our future simulator, part of the overall Ericsson strategy to come first to market with 5G products!
Your role will include all typical development activities and give you on a daily basis a multitude of opportunities to be in touch with sofware engineering cutting-edge technogies and excel in what you do best: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, and product documentation, innovation and knowledge sharing

Key Qualifications:
Education: BSc Computer Science minimum, MSc Computer Science preferred.
Min years of experience: newly graduated/1-3 years in programming language.
Knowledge in Linux (shell commands, utilities programs) and (bash) shell-scripting.
Experience in Erlang & OTP is a plus (such as supervisors, gen_servers, gen_fsm.)
Experience in Software version control such as GIT, Gerrit is a merit.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge.
Additional Knowledge that are highly appreciated (but not required):
Automated testing
• Understanding of best practices in automated testing.
• Understanding of unit testing.
• Erlang Common Test.
LTE Signalling
• Understanding of LTE protocols X2, S1, NAS, RRC, PDCP, RLC.
• Understanding of ASN.1
LTE Overview
• Understanding of LTE nodes such as MME, eNB, SGW, etc.
eNB
• Understanding of the HW/SW architecture of the Ericsson eNB-node.
• Understanding of CPP (G1) and RCS (G2).
• Understanding of Linx/ITC gateway
UE Simulators
• Understanding of uctool and Uctool API.
• Understanding of TM500 types (SUE/MUE, etc.) and M2M interface.
Networking (TCP/UDP/SCTP)
• Understanding of TCP/UDP/SCTP
Continuous Integration
• Understanding of continuous integration concept
• Understanding of Jenkins
5G
• Understanding architectural concepts, differences to 2/3/4G
• General understanding of 5G infrastructure
