As SW Developer within the group Security Electronics for Alarm Systems you are key person in implementing Alarm functions for next generations Volvo cars. You work in a team with system responsible, task leaders and function developers. As we now have a more global footprint, you also co-operate with our development center in China.
Job description:
• Develop solutions cross functional to given specification, Time- Technical- Cost contract (TTC), Design prerequisites and VCC-standard.
• Responsible for that technical documents are available at the right level and right time plan according to KU-plan and that they are fulfilling VCC-standard and synchronized with other releases.
• Secure SW Quality assurance within own area.
• Lead suppliers in own area with respect to SW development and Quality Assurance.
• Contribute to the build-up of experience, by participating in developing of technology strategy within the area of competence.
Your profile:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or informatics.
• Master of Science Computer Science or Informatics is meritious.
• Good knowledge of the SW Development process at Volvo Car Corporation.
• Knowledge about System Safety according to ISO26262.
• Knowledge about Computer Security & Dependability is meritorious.
• At least two years of experience from SW or system development in Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge about quality work, tools and processes are meritorious.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written).
• Basic understanding of Swedish (spoken and written).
• High communication skills and a positive attitude.
