In this role at Hitachi Energy, you will be a part of a department which is responsible for automation and digital real-time control software of the power plants and transmissions. The configuration manager has the ability and authority to ensure day-to-day and end-to-end configuration management services in the organization, for software development and the relevant aspects of application lifecycle management.

Your responsibilities
Supporting and mentoring the organization on configuration management tools, services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
Tracking compliance on policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues.
Chairing the configuration control board (CCB) and enacting changes as directed. Managing and supervising changes and their associated documentation.
Configuring Azure DevOps templates, pipelines, repositories, and KPI dashboards.
Administering credentials and access rights of configuration management infrastructure.

Your background
You have an interest and skills within software development.
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree within a relevant technical area.
Fluency in English is required, written, and spoken alike. Knowledge of Swedish or other languages is meritorious.
Excellence in Azure DevOps and Visual Studio toolchain.
Experience of virtual environments is advantageous.
Knowledge of CI (Continuous Integration), repository strategies using TFVC and GIT.
