Role description
Cepheid is looking for a Software Program Manager with responsibility for the planning, coordination, tracking, and successful implementation of multiple software, big data and data analytics projects. In this role, you work alongside with technical leads in planning, coordination and implementation of Cepheid's big data and analytics platform and manage cross-functional core team members from departments such as Biology, Engineering, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Quality and others. Responsibility also includes ensuring projects meet corporate strategies and goals around on-time delivery, budget, product development processes, quality system and regulatory requirement.
Who you are
For this role we are looking for candidates with a software engineering background, and experience in big data and software management. Experience in all aspects of product development including planning, execution and product launch is desired. Experience from medical industry is highly meritorious.
You are someone who is able to understand the functions of product development with ability to build partnership between functions and cultures to accomplish project goals. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You have a proactive, hands-on management style and experience in coaching / mentoring and train others. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are prerequisites as the role requires creativity in finding innovative solutions to project execution or process problems.
