Sandvik IT Services is the Sandvik Group's internal company with responsibility for infrastructure, application development and system management in the IT area.
The Sourcing and License department seeks to expand the license team through the recruitment of an experienced Software Asset Manager.
Key performance areas
As Software Asset Manager you will act as the primary point of accountability for the life-cycle management of software assets throughout the organization. Included in your responsibilities are development and maintenance of policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to manage the software asset portfolio with respect to risk, cost, control, governance, compliance and business performance objectives as established by the business.
You are also a key resource, with the challenge of developing our sourcing and license competency. Your responsibility is to lead the license team to optimise license utilisation and expenditure across the group. You can embrace the challenge to build, manage and develop business relationships in a global environment.
Your profile
You have an education relevant for this position, as well as previous commercial work experience within a business IT environment. A good knowledge of software landscapes is a requirement, as is a sound business acumen developed over several years of work experience in the corporate arena.
You are result orientated, possess good communication skills and a high level of integrity and are stress resistant. You have good analytical skills and can drive the license management process forward. Your approach is structured and service-oriented. Furthermore, you enjoy new challenges, deliver professional results and possess an eye for detail. You are fluent in both written and verbal English.
