Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) is a part of Group IT and is a global organization within the Volvo Group providing telematics off-board services. Volvo Group Telematics enables and accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development and delivery. Our solutions exist in Volvo Group products and in other products in the consumer in Europe.
What you get
You will join a development team involved in the core connected Vehicle area. We are developing, maintaining and operating software for message transfer between Volvo Group commercial Vehicles (Trucks, Busses, Machines) and backend server. We are also responsible for the software managing basic data for Volvo Group commercial Vehicles. Managing connectivity and data for the Volvo Group transport solutions is a fast evolving and exciting area. We are developing software based on domain driven design and micro services based architecture which also includes leveraging cloud environment.

Who you are
We are looking for a skilled Java developer and architect. Primary profile is backend server development. Special focus is on design for performance and robustness. Java 8, Spring, AWS. AMQ and Oracle or Postgress skills are required.
