About the team
The tech department at Flowbox consists of several teams: a Collection and Curation team that allows users to collect and manage content; two Distribution teams whose mission is to help the users to utilize the inspiring and authentic content created for their brand, and a Platform team that takes care of the platform itself and analytics.
The Software Architect will have a central position in the tech department and work with all teams.
Your mission
As a Software Architect, you will oversee the architecture, infrastructure and system design for the entire Flowbox product and make sure that they are aligned with the business goals. You will have a lot of ownership to make decisions about the technology choice throughout the product and be the trusted tie breaker for technical decisions for the squads. You will also support the tech department with the guiding principles of software development to ensure stability, scalability, and performance of Flowbox product.
As a Software Architect at Flowbox, you will also act as a tech ambassador in business decision making.
About You
To thrive is this role, you probably have 6+ years of experience in SaaS platform development and hands-on solution architecture design. You have strong knowledge and understanding of AWS and PaaS, which are both used in Flowbox. It is also very beneficial to have experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines but we have a dedicated infra team that helps with monitoring, alerting and security.
When it comes to soft skills, it's great if you'll enjoy being a "tech influencer" in the company, bringing the developers onboard with the architecture and system design without micromanagement nor becoming a bottleneck. You should also be able to translate technical concepts into the business consequences.
