Welcome to the heart of connectivity! Key ResponsibilitiesThe Tracking & Status service team consists of 4 sub teams and deliver positioning services and vehicle health services. The main responsibility of the role is to bridge business problems and technical solutions. Finding the best solution for a business problem will be the core working process. In practice this means analysis, create design and enhance existing services for the future. The mentality of the role shall be to drive the design of micro services in the Tracking & Status service team, learn our development platform and collaborate with many teams. Features of the role are:Through a holistic solution view, design servicesDescribe structures, characteristics and other aspects of the design for development teamsDrive reviews of architecture concepts and solutionsResponsible to lead sub team architects and developers in correct direction by supporting them in the development designResponsible to work with improvements, by participation in the development, of the architectural principles, processes and standardsPerform presentation of solutions to stakeholdersAct as a mentor for project members/colleaguesCollaborate with enterprise architect groupCompetence Profile & QualificationsAs a person we believe you are structured, innovative and have a strong technical focus in combination with a customer oriented attitude. You enjoy teamwork, contribute with team spirit and you like taking responsibility.A university degree in Computer science or similarExperience from software engineering and agile developmentExperience of fleet management systems and the Transport/Logistics domain areaYou have several year's documented experience from assignments in designing and developing systems in close cooperation with customersHave a Java development backgroundAbility to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teamsStrong interest in process improvements and ability to create structureHave capacity to execute against set targets and a "can do" attitudeAbility to establish and maintain good relations with your internal and external partnersFluent in English and Swedish - both written and spokenLocation & TimelineThe position is based at Lindholmen in Gothenburg, Sweden.
