hela Sverige We are looking for a software and verification manager within our product segment Driver Information. In the role as software and verification manager you will be responsible for one of our software & verification teams in our HQ in Solna.
Your role
As a manager you will be responsible for developing the team's individual and collective capability and support the projects with the right competence and develop the technology and competence in the area. You will plan and manage resource allocation, headcount, budget and forecast. You will also coordinate the activities in your team with respect to the other teams/departments.
The position offered will require some traveling between different development sites and customers. You will report to Vice President, Driver Information
The challenges ahead for the Software and verification Manager are to develop global teams to work in one common global market. Also the software in our products are often a co-developed Software together with our customers and other partners.
This set high requirements of structured layered Software with clear interfaces. Requirement traceability and testing is key to success.
Our products with in Driver Information are true embedded systems for automotive with powerful micro controllers and large high resolution displays. We work with real-time OS as well as with Linux and other higher level operating systems.

Good leadership skills are the most important qualification for this role. For us at SRE this means a decentralized and supportive leadership based on management by objectives. You should have confidence in leading teams globally in different time zones and cultures and previous work experience outside Sweden. Good communication skills and fluency in English is important for this role. Furthermore, do we see that you have the ability to take a holistic perspective, a strong customer oriented approach and strive for results.
The ideal candidate has previous experience from:
• Software development, verification strategy work, project management or line management
• Automotive or other vehicle industry
• Embedded Linux systems
• Software testing or Systems testing
• Embedded real-time systems and the vehicle industry
• Minimum a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computing Science or similar relevant education
