Where are we?
Every day, companies like Volvo Group, are facing many attacks. In Cybersecurity department and the Cyber defense center (CDC), we always want to be ahead of hackers and cyber criminals to detect and respond to cyberattacks why we are persistently working on detecting and responding to security breaches and violations. In the CDC you will be a part to assist in meet the global challenges of keeping one of the largest companies in the world secure.
The vision
CDC consists of ten persons and we are now enhancing our security operations center (SOC) with more staff - yes, we need you! You will have the opportunity to take part of a great team by using your experience, competence, thoughts, ideas, to over time make the SOC function world class because that is where we are heading. The key to your success at Volvo group is daring to challenge our current ways of working, create with integrity and having fun while doing it.
What you will do
You will work within a fast paced, agile environment in a fantastic team collaborating with different stakeholders across Volvo group. These will be some selected responsibilities:
Perform analysis, identification, remediation, and documentation of network intrusions and computer system compromises
Analyze threat and vulnerability alerts, determine impact, coordinate remediation actions
Take part of the SOC to increase monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
Implement countermeasures to reduce and/or mitigate further exposure using MITRE ATT@CK
Effectively communicate findings and risk to stakeholders and management
Implement realistic adversary emulation plans of tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve breach prevention and detection in conjunction with the SOC
And you are?
You communicate in a good way to be able to interact with different stakeholders across the Volvo group
You have security engineering and architecture experience
You have methodological skills and the ability to put yourself in the business shoes
You may have some relevant offensive testing experience with a mix of both applications and infrastructure security
Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
Have demonstrable knowledge and experience with MITRE's ATT&CK framework and commonly used TTPs
Certifications within the domain e.g. CEH, are a plus
