We currently have the following job opening;
Site SQE - Powertrain
As SSQE you are responsible for an allocated set of supplier manufacturing locations within the dedicated region in Europe & US, wherever CEVT is design and release responsible. Your activities are focused on timely product and process performance at external suppliers, supporting both new programs and running production. You will assess potential of supplier according to Manufacturing Site Assessment and in other ways drive supplier performance and source for quality. In this role you are also driving quality assurance of new programs, participating in supplier engagement processes and drive supplier related issues to completion as well as supplier completion of launch activities. Doing supplier readiness assessments, reviewing and approving PPAP packages and PFMEA and Control Plans are part of your tasks in this role. You will also handle 8Ds, monitor and verify QOS, support warranty cost reduction programs and conducting Field Action / Stop Shipment Review (FASS).
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Sites current production performance, GQE status, Introduction of new products and driving continuous improvement.
- Complete the Sourcing Approach Assessment, Supplier Quality Sourcing Evaluation.
- Conduct recurring APQP and SEP reviews with program "High Impact" Suppliers.
- Secure corrective action plans for any incomplete or inadequate item.
- Complete part approval and capacity verification activities for assigned parts.
- Maintain supplier GQE work plan information.
Requirements
- BSc. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Good analytical and continuous improvement skills (Six Sigma / Lean).
- Good skills in Quality processes (APQP and PAPP).
- Good knowledge in the manufacturing processes (Digital steering Steel forming, Casting, Metallic processing, Welding, Heat treatment) assigned the role.
- Good communicator with Project Management skills.
- Fluency in English, oral and written.
