As the Site SHE Manager you have the overall responsibility for managing Safety, Health & Environment improvement activities to achieve excellence at the site level. You will work towards developing the local SHE strategy and improvement plans in order to achieve Sustainable SHE excellence by reducing injuries, illnesses and environmental impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive change and deploy the global/cluster SHE strategy, policy and standards in the site to achieve excellent sustainable results
• Manage the SHE team responsible for delivering Occupational Health,
Safety and Environment results
• Influence senior management and drive safety and environmental leadership through line management
• Reduce the site's environmental impact in the areas of COD, hazardous & non-hazardous waste, SOx & CO2 emissions and water & energy consumption
• Advise line management in all accident/incident investigations
• Conduct trend analysis from incidents, near misses, safe behavior observations and deep compliance audits
• Assist the site leader to develop and lead the internal crisis committees and safety committee; support the site leader in leading serious incident investigation and analysis
• Develop and deploy internal SHE auditing and inspection systems and participate in audits of other Unilever organisations as required
• Determine training needs and assist in delivery of training programs

THIS IS WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
You are proactive towards issues and opportunities, have the ability to build relationships and think and drive change across functions and along processes. You preferably have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and experience from working in Supply Chain operations.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE/ARE:
• Experience from a similar position working with SHE
• A passion for working with Change Management
• Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
• Fluent in English and preferably a Nordic Language both speaking and writing.
• Experience from National legislation related to SHE
• Driven and with good influencing skills
• Structured and analytical
• Advanced knowledge of working with the Microsoft Office programs
