The Remanufacturing organization comprises of about 800 employees in 7 locations world-wide. Our task is to remanufacture main components to the Volvo Group mainly Engines and Gearboxes including managing the cores. Remanufacturing services all Brands and Business Areas in the Volvo Group. The total Remanufacturing business in the Volvo group had 2017 a growth of 6%.
We are passionate about remanufacturing and we hope to find a new colleague who shares that passion with us and who wants to be our next Site Director Remanufacturing Flen.
As Site Director you are responsible for building network with several internal and external areas throughout the value chain to secure business value, customer satisfaction, synergies/efficient product cost and product quality and people development.
The Remanufacturing Site Director is reporting to the VP Remanufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Overall performance responsibility for Remanufacturing operations in Flen including customer satisfaction financial objectives and people development, per the Business Plan and longer range objectives
Support other Remanufacturing sites with knowhow and material supply
Promote a professional, efficient and safe work environment
Continue to introduce and develop VPS way of working, aligned with the overall VPS implementation in Remanufacturing
Be an active team member in the global Remanufacturing management team
Participate in new product development
Product portfolio maintenance
Secure overall business and long range planning for the Remanufacturing entity in Flen
At Powertrain Production we are actively working to establish groupings that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent in differences in e g knowledge, experience, age, gender and nationality.

Education / Experience preferred
Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
Strong business- leadership- and entrepreneurial skills
Production experience
Excellent organisation- communication- and employee relations skills
Fluent in English
Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks.
