SCA Hygiene Products AB Edet Mill is looking for a Site Controller who has a passion for production, economics and continues improvements!
The Site Controller will be responsible for the co-ordination of controlling processes and will be the functional manager of the controlling and accounting group at the mill that consists of two persons.
The job holder is further responsible for internal pricing updates, management of sales and general ledgers and balance sheet, and capital expenditure reporting, including monitoring the relevant internal controls. The jobholder will also liaise with the sales controllers in providing accurate cost information for current, new, and proposed new products.
The position is based in Lilla Edet. You will report to the Site Manager and are a member of the Site Leadership Team. Some travelling may be required
Main Tasks
Providing concise financial and operational reporting; analyses, support and advice to the site and the Regional Controlling Coordinator
Leading and supporting the forecast process for the site, including the five-year-plans
Conducting AP (agreed price) tendency consistency checks vs. AP assumptions
Supporting during budget set-up, proposing and presenting the regional bottom-up targets to the Regional Controlling Coordinator
Coordinating the Capex process for the site including monthly updates and flagging of upcoming Capex’s
Developing and implementing systems of work which comply with SCAs internal control requirements, and ensuring effective resolution of instances of non-conformance
Implementing Best Practices in a pro-active way
Identifying, leading and supporting continuous improvement activities in a proactive manner, espwcially regarding relevance, timelines and accuracy of financial and operational reports or analyses
Actively promoting cost consciousness on site
Participation in controlling projects, integration tasks and training
Lead and develop the team of two persons in the accounting group.
Key Competencies
University degree in economics, or equivalent
Minimum three years of financial controller experience within production company, preferably from international working environment
Basic knowledge in legal accounting
Documented good knowledge in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Experience from SAP is an advantage
