Do you want to work within an innovative international group?
The position is within the infrastructure part of the IT-IS Department which is responsible for the IT operations for the whole company. The environment is Microsoft based (Windows, SQL Server and
Echange), with a VERITAS Storage Foundation cluster disaster recovery solution and heavy use of VMware technology. We are also working towards a Citrix thin client solution for the whole group.
The main duties are:
Ø to be responsible for technical DBA work on all our SQL Server databases (installing, monitoring, performance enhancement).
Ø to monitor application-related processes and batch jobs.
Ø to participate in the application upgrades
Ø to create/maintain dev/test/promotion environments
Ø to maintain and monitor our SAN and related components
Ø to maintain and monitor our back-up solution
For this position we ideally expect a suitable backgroun to be:
Ø Excellent experience as a DBA for SQL Server based applications
Ø Excellent knowledge in Windows Server 2003
Ø Very good knowledge of SANs and related areas.
The position will demand that the person will work tightly with other members of the IT department to ensure high performance and availability for our systems. The IT department is centrally located
in Stockholm in Spårvagnshallarna.
