hela Sverige ALTEN CAE is expanding and now looking for a simulation engineer with experience from thermal simulations for automotive applications.

You have at least a master's degree within thermal and fluid dynamics together with minimum 3 years of experience working as a simulation engineer. This position involves contact with different groups, both internal and external, in addition to a daily work in close cooperation with the simulation department. Your work tasks will be to plan and perform thermal simulations using GT-Suite, including analyzing simulation results, make recommendations and presentation of results.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience from simulations using GT-Suite
Good communications skills
Minimum 3 years of experience
Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
MERITORIOUS EXPERIENCE:
More than 5 years of work experience within automotive as simulation engineer within a related field
Experience of calculation-based analysis within fluid dynamics (1D or 3D), thermal management or thermodynamics within the automotive industry
Experience of 3D CFD using any of the tools: Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, ANSA
Scripting in MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN
