Do you have experience of coordinating technical project teams and working with railway signaling? Do you want to be an integral part of the coming signaling solutions throughout Europe? Then the role as signaling project engineer at Ansaldo STS might be something for you!
Ansaldo STS is now looking for a signaling project engineer to strengthen their projects within railway. The company is in an exciting period with many interesting projects.
You will work with coordination of all project technical activities and the delivery of signaling design on time, on quality and on budget. One of your main responsibilities will be to ensure the technical interface toward the Customer and that the project fulfill the technical requirements of the contract. You will also ensure that project objectives are communicated to the project team and monitor that all technical project activities are aligned with the project schedule, as well as discuss and agree upon updated project objectives and criticalities with the Project Manager. Other responsibilities will be participating in reviews to detect errors and inefficiencies, and putting in place corrective and improvement actions and overseeing functional design documentation.
Qualifications:
You have:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, engineering physics or equivalent.
• 3 years' experience of working with railway signaling.
• Proven track record of coordinating technical project teams.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
If you also have experience of working in a matrix organization and ERTMS it is an advantage.
As a person you are flexible and capable of adding value laterally to the project. You are social and comfortable working in close coordination with design engineers, customers and subsidiaries. You value structure and have the ability to switch focus between details and the big picture.
