Our department Portfolio Services is looking for a new manager for our Short Term Trading team. Main objective for the team is to trade and optimize our physical gas and power positions. Portfolio Services is EON Nordic's wholesale energy trading, optimization and portfolio management team. This is a unit with a clear ambition to excel in what we do. We offer you the chance to shape and develop our business and EON's future.
This includes tasks such as:
*Lead a team of traders/optimizers
*Short term trading on the physical power and gas markets
*Balancing responsible for all E.ON Nordic entities and customers
*Intensely look for new business opportunities and new ways of adding value
*Be proactive in customer interfaces and develop new products such as flexibility and 3rd party services
*Deploy algorithmic trading and rapidly automate processes in order to change the business model to fit a digital future
*Challenge the status quo and implement new ways of working to develop your team and lead a cultural change
*Participate and actively monitor the daily trading activities to make sure agreed upon PnL-targets and KPI:s are fulfilled
The role is located in Malmoe.
In order to be successful in the role as a Short Term Trading Manager we expect you to have a financial or Technical University degree or adequate. You have vast experience from Nordic or European physical energy markets. You are an experienced leader with solid change management skills constantly looking for new ways of developing the team.
We want you to have an agile mindset and that you are used to work cross-functionally and hands-on. Further you are business oriented, always looking for customer satisfaction and adding value since this this will be one of your top priorities.
It 's commendable if you have experience from algorithmic trading and robotics or other similar tools.
As a person you are self-reflective, result oriented and change driven. You are passionate about developing your team and you always place the customer first. You are a good communicator and very business oriented, also being trustworthy and forward looking, you are a role model to the wider team. You believe the future is digital and are passionate about automation, digitalization and business development.
