SDK Shipping seeks a pro-active and professional candidate for a position as ship agent at our office in Gothenburg. We want to strengthen our team in Gothenburg with someone who wants to be part of a company with many different activities and help us grow our business.
The business environment is hands-on and involves a daily contact with customers, suppliers, authorities
and other business partners. Our Gothenburg office handles a wide variety of vessels, its everything from crude oil tankers to cruise ships. You will have the opportunity to develop a broad shipping knowledge by being part of a shipping company with many different business areas.
The operational areas of responsibility vary and relates to coordination, clearing and handling vessels and their service requests. Interaction with and service to customers are important aspects of taking an active part ensuring future growth for our Company. You will be part of the local duty roster and must be prepared to work outside normal business hours, travelling to other ports are sometimes also required.

Qualifications:
Good communication skills in general.
Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken, is a prerequisite.
Must have a valid driving license.
Be able to handle a computer with ease and well acquainted with office software like word/excel etc.
Experience from ship agency/logistics/shipping businesses is a merit.
Experience from handling international clients is a merit.
