Ericsson Research performs cutting-edge research through cooperation with partners, customers, universities and research institutes around the world, as well as within the global Ericsson organization.
We are now recruiting for the area, Global Services Research. There are open positions for you who want a stimulating and challenging role in the absolute forefront of services research.
Description of the research area
Global Services Research provides Ericsson with technical & professional ICT services concepts, models, methods, processes, tools and technology to secure long term competitive services business.
Job Description
We are looking for a young, talented person to join our team of researchers in the area of Service Operations. You will participate in advanced research projects that innovate and propose new ways of working in our service delivery & operations around the world.
Main tasks will be to study behavior in individuals and group dynamics - and their interrelationships with other individuals, groups and organizations and apply organization theory/ psychology principles and applied behavior (systems) analysis to propose models & methods for performance improvement procedures of the service delivery & operations units around the world to optimize organizational performance.
The job is exploratory in its nature and the candidate must be able to search for, propose and create results matching the research targets. The job will require a lot of cooperation with other Ericsson units, as well as with external partners and customers.
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have at least a Masters/PhD degree that work well independently and as part of a team with very diverse backgrounds, have a strong drive, very good collaboration and communication skills, a talent for innovation, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidates should have extensive knowledge and experience of one or more of the following areas:
• MS or PhD in organization theory, behavioral science, (Industrial) organizational psychology or similar
• Research/ Academic proficiency
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Understands the industry of Professional/ Technical ICT Services.
